We are very happy to announce the GrEnFIn Summer School and Training which will take place in Bertinoro (Italy, 80 km from Bologna) from June 23 to 27, 2024.

Ten students of the Master programs in

  • Financial and Insurance Mahematics
  • Mathematics
  • Statistics and Data Science

will have the opportunity to participate and receive financial support through a scholarship according to the regulations of an Erasmus+ short term mobility study (SMS).

This is a unique opportunity to get new insights on topics whose importance is constantly growing in last years, like Climate Risk, Green Finance and Energy markets, as well as actively working on projects related to these subjects, in a highly international environment, in contact with experts on the field.
Students will enhance their competencies through a novel educational approach, impacting their professional skills. The program emphasizes integrating climate-related risks and opportunities into energy investment strategies using new stress-test methodologies.
On the one hand, there will be theoretical and practical lectures from high profile professionals and professors. On the other hand students will work on the solution of a practical project related to the topics of the lectures, divided into small international teams.

Students of the Master program Financial and Insurance Mathematics successfully participating in the summer school will be awarded 6 credits for the Master study program in Financial and Insurance Mathematics at LMU.

The event will take place in the very beautiful castle of Bertinoro. For more information about the location, please see: https://castelliemiliaromagna.it/it/s/bertinoro/6026-rocca_di_bertinoro
